USE

The SUVAG CT10 is a unit designed for use in the rehabilitation of all types of hearing defects.

    It is designed for use in a classroom environment, or with groups (rhythm) with a maximum of ten children.

    It can also be used for children with normal hearing but suffering from speech defects.
    The SUVAG CT 10 amplifies and transmits speech frequencies and very low frequencies below 16 Hz.


CHARACTERISTICS

Technically, the SUVAG CT 10 is a power amplifier alternately connected to the preamplifier.
The frequency band extends over 13 octaves starting in the infrasonic zone.
Maximum sound pressure at the headphones is about 140 dB.
To protect the transducers (headphones, vibrators), output power is limited to a 16 V peak. Further protection for the transducers is incorporated in the power amplifier to attenuate the effects of any internal failure of the amplifier. The power transistors are thermically protected against over-heating.

The SUVAG CT 10 also offers the following characteristics :

    - Two inputs for one or two electret type microphones with or without harness, a tape recorder or cassette player.
    - A low-pass filter with cut-off frequency set at 1000 Hz and 24 dB/oct. slope.
    - A volume control potentiometer.
    - A level indicator consisting of four LEDs, three green and one yellow ; the yellow one indicates the limiting level.
    - A fifth red LED, beside the yellow one, indicates that current protection is activated, i.e. that there is a malfunction in the unit.
    - A 6,35 mm mono jack output socket marked " SORTIE ".
    - Output power : 28 watts for 4,5 Ohms minimum.
    - Luminous mains ON/OF switch.
    - Mains power supply : 220 V ± 10 % ; 50 Hz –60 Hz. ( Other mains voltages available on request).
    - Dimensions : Height 100 mm – Width 270 mm Depth 205 mm.
    - Weight : 3,75 Kg.



ACCESSORIES

The same accessories as are available with all the other SUVAG units are also available for use with the SUVAG CT 10, notably :

    - ME31 electret type microphone, with or without harness.
    - The BD 10 distribution box with ten outputs for headphones or vibrators, with individual level adjustment.
    - SEDI CA 100 mono headphones (50 Ohms impedance).
    - Vibrator VIBAR SUVAG R 50 (50 Ohms).
